Leaving a mark on the Australian design market, the CAFE LIGHTING & LIVING buyers work closely with
interior design professionals to create statement collections of products that adapt to a variety of interior styles.
From the ever-popular Hamptons, Coastal look to Traditional and transitional interior styles, we work closely with property stylists, trade professionals, renovation experts & major retail groups.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE – (Incorporating Foreign Exchange)

The Role

 

  • Ensure accurate data entry of local and overseas invoices in a timely manner.
  • Schedule and manage overseas supplier payment terms, deposit, and final payments. 
  • Cost and process shipments in a timely manner.
  • Process payment runs to domestic and international suppliers (predominantly China & India), weekly and as required.
  • Obtain forward exchange contracts and managing contracts to cover overseas payments ensuring minimal exposure.
  • Review and record credit card expense claims ensuring documentation is complete.
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliations monthly, including claims.
  • Take initiative in investigating and resolving queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain account emails.
  • Maintain supplier specification records.
  • Assist with month end closing.
  • Work closely with the finance team and other operations within the company.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience working in accounts payable and foreign exchange.
  • Ability to process high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Be organised, efficient with a can-do attitude.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be a motivated self-starter.
  • High attention to detail.


About you:

The person we are looking will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this fast-paced role:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency are necessary.
  • Knowledge of Jiwa, NetSuite an advantage.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in exporting/importing. 
  • Excellent office administration experience.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to problem solve any issues that may arise.

This is a part time – 30 hours per week over 4 days or 5 based at Sydney office in Wetherill Park NSW 2164.
